Walt Disney World – Memorial Day Weekend

I am pleased to announce a new event for families with Diabetes – Doing Disney with Diabetes! Come and join us for Memorial Weekend 2019 at the Walt Disney World parks in Florida! This event is being hosted by Robyn Adams that offered Diabetic Mousketeers for many years.
If you haven’t been to Walt Disney World with Diabetes yet – this is a great time to come! And if you have, this is still a great time to come and show others how it is done! This trip is built for everyone – those that are new to the parks and those that are pros!
This trip is designed to not only show you the ins and outs of a Disney trip but also teach you how to manage Diabetes in the process. On Friday night, we will have everyone invited to a pool party at the resort so we can all get to know each other. Then on Saturday, we will go to the Magic Kingdom together as a group and navigate the FP and DAS system together, monitor blood sugars. tackle those pesky lows and highs, S.W.A.G. through the meals together, meet some characters, ride the rides, character dinner, and so much more! On Sunday, you all are welcome to go off on your own or join my family at Animal Kingdom. We will meet up for dinner that night so that we can reconnect and see how everyone’s day was.
By signing up for this event and booking it through Take My Hand Travel, not only do you get access to all of the activities we have planned for the group, you also get assistance with planning your entire stay. We can help you with all of your dining reservations, FP selections, navigation of the parks, park hours, and so much more. When you contact us, let us know how many days you would like to stay for your trip, the type of tickets you would like and if you have a preference of a resort (value, moderate, deluxe, etc). We will put together a package just for your family and help you take advantage of the current discounts.
