Although we work with all types of travelers, Robyn specializes in working with those with Special Needs. Our goal is to show you that you can have a successful trip to Disney. As the mother of a son with Type 1 Diabetes, SPD and anxiety, Robyn understands the fear and stress that goes along with traveling with a family member who has special needs. We’re here to be your support system, offer understanding in delicate situations and provide those personal touches that give you peace of mind on your vacation.
Personal Experience and EducationRobyn2019-02-24T16:43:31+00:00
I know all the ins and outs of traveling, whether it be to Disney, Universal or taking a cruise and will use that knowledge to make your trip the best it can be! As a Travel Professional I’m on the cutting edge of what’s new and work hard to make sure my knowledge is current.
Making plans for a Disney vacation can be overwhelming! I look after all the little details that can get lost in the shuffle. I like to take the time to get to know my clients and fully understand their needs. I know how to make your budget work and how to make the most out of your time and money. Based on my personal experience and your personal travel needs, I will offer suggestions and share my personal experience to help you make sense of all your options and make the perfect choice for your family. My goal is to make sure you feel comfortable and confident and provide you with peace of mind as you depart on your vacation.
Think of us as your safety netRobyn2019-02-24T16:29:50+00:00
If anything should go wrong during your trip, you can rely on us to assist you. We will suggest and arrange alternate travel arrangements, help you to deal with any travel emergency you may have, and put you in touch with the right local people to answer your needs. We are directly available to help you by phone, email or text.
What sets us apart is the Personalized One-on-One Service we offer to all of our clients. We understand that travel could be your biggest discretionary spend in any given year so you want to make sure it’s done right. When you work with us, we will get to know you and your family or other traveling companions. We’ll spend as much time as needed finding out how to meet your personal travel needs. When calling Take My Hand Travel, you are calling our direct lines. We are not part of a call center where you may get passed around from agent to agent. We like getting to know you and using that information to make your trip better! We work for you – not Disney.
When booking an expensive trip, travelers want to see everything and experience the best a destination has to offer. We can ensure your dollars go a long way—and make sure you don’t miss that amazing restaurant or dining experience, the special event or the latest attractions. We can help map out exactly how much your trip will cost, so there are no surprises. We have access to benefits that can save you money and provide you with a better experience. We know where to find the best discounts and can apply discounts retroactively to any eligible package. Personally, we try to spend my client’s money like we would spend our own. Sometimes spending a little extra gives you a lot, sometimes spending a lot extra gives you very little. In addition to money saving tips, we try to let our clients know where they should splurge and where they should cut corners.
Spending hours and weeks researching the perfect trip can take up a ton of time during a busy work week. Instead of deciding where to go based on anonymous comments on a website, speak to someone who does this for a living and knows what they’re talking about. While keeping your personal needs in mind, we will cut through all the internet clutter and put together an entire Disney vacation plan customized for you.
*Mastering the crowds. Daily crowd levels at Disney Parks can change drastically in any given week. Using our knowledge and experience, we’ll give you all the information you need to know.
*How to use the Fast Pass System and/or Disability Access System (DAS).
*Dining reservations and recommendations. We’re happy to make recommendations, help you find menus to look over and make dining reservations. If you have dietary restrictions, we can help find restaurant options to meet your needs.
*Answers to important questions such as: park hours, parade times, fireworks times, magic hours, height charts and much more.
We accept reservation transfers!Robyn2019-02-24T16:37:37+00:00
If you booked your trip directly with Disney and are unsure about it or just need some extra help, we can transfer your reservation to our agency and help you just as if you booked originally with us. *Some restrictions apply.
All our services are FREE to you!! Robyn2019-02-24T17:21:17+00:00
There are no behind the scenes markups or hidden fees. We understand that life is full of surprises, so we do not charge any booking, change or cancellation fees. We also don’t charge a fee if you want to call us 10 times a day to ask a question, or if we need to stay on the line with Disney for an hour or more to make a last minute change to your itinerary.
