Terms of Sale

Take My Hand Travel is an agent for the various travel suppliers we work with. We are a liaison between the travel supplier and the client. We do not supply travel or travel related products – including hotel accommodations, air and ground transportation, food, cruises, tours, etc. and are not responsible for any travel suppliers’ actions, breach of contract, omissions or delays. Any actions by a travel supplier that may result in an injury, damage to person or personal property is not the responsibility of Take My Hand Travel or its agents.

The Terms and Conditions in the Supplier documents and brochures is applicable to the transactions on behalf of the supplier by Take My Hand Travel. We, therefore, shall not be responsible for breach of contract, failure to comply with any laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any intentional or negligent actions or omissions on the part of such suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or injury to travelers or travelers’ companions or group members. Unless the term “guaranteed” is specifically stated in writing on your tickets, invoice, or reservation itinerary, we do not guarantee any of such supplier’s rates, bookings, reservations, connections, scheduling, refunds, or handling of baggage or other personal effects. We shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveler in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside the travel agent’s control. We are never responsible for contraction of disease – including but not limited to COVID-19.

Travel arrangements involving airline and cruise components are subject to supplemental price increases that may be imposed by the supplier and/or government, after you have completed your purchase. You will be responsible for payment of such price increases.  Traveler assumes complete and full responsibility for, and hereby releases the agent from, any duty of checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of each destination, and all safety and security conditions of such destinations, during the length of the proposed travel. However, we specifically recommend that U. S. Citizens traveling to Canada, Mexico or the Caribbean, do so with a valid U. S. Passport. For information concerning possible dangers at international destinations, contact the Travel Advisory Section of the U. S. State Department, (202) 647-5225, or access the State-Department’s on-line travel advisory service (www.state.gov/travel For medical information, call the U. S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), (404) 332-4559 or log on to www.cdc.gov./travel. By embarking upon his/her travel, the traveler voluntarily assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected. Traveler is hereby warned of the above risks as well as possible travel industry bankruptcies and medical and climatic disruptions, and the possibility traveler may be unable to travel as scheduled because of personal emergency. Traveler is advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage against these risks; information is available through Take My Hand Travel regarding travel insurance.  For your protection, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation and travel accident insurance.  No representation or description of the insurance made constitutes a binding assurance or promise about the insurance. Traveler’s retention of tickets, reservations, or bookings after issuance shall constitute a consent to the above and an agreement on his/her part to convey the contents hereto to his/her travel companions or group members. We are not responsible for disruptions of any kind including but not limited to acts of terrorism, weather, natural disasters, or carrier or supplier logistical problems.​

Quote Requests

Take My Hand Travel and its agents provide our clients with the most accurate information available at the time the quote is processed. Pricing is always subject to change by our travel suppliers. We are not responsible for pricing changes. We are also not responsible for room or category availability. The travel supplier can change things at their will and we are not in control of any of these changes. We cannot guarantee any quotes unless a courtesy hold is put on the reservation at the time the quote is processed.

Reservations

Paying a deposit and/or balance on a reservation booked through Take My Hand Travel indicates a valid and active reservation with the travel supplier.

User agrees to abide by all cancellation policies and terms and conditions set forth by the travel supplier and any and all suppliers and third parties. User agrees that reservation booking is assigned to the travel supplier and may not be released or reassigned to another party, supplier, third party or the User directly.​

Payments

Take My Hand Travel does not charge clients directly or accept payments to the company. A client’s payment is processed via the travel supplier with the client’s credit card or debit card. We provide the travel supplier with a client’s address, phone and credit card information to process deposits or payments. There will never be a charge from Take My Hand Travel or it’s agents. If there is a charge in question contact your credit card company immediately.

Cancellations and Fees

Take My Hand Travel does not charge fees for vacation cancellations. However, airlines and travel suppliers do charge fees based on their own company Terms and Conditions.

Travel insurance is recommended to all Take My Hand Travel clients. But be aware that travel insurance is usually non-refundable. We are not responsible for any cancellation fees incurred by the travel supplier.

Take My Hand Travel is not responsible for the terms and conditions set forth by travel vendors.
